About Me

Hey There, I'm Kendra

A designer/graphic artist/blogger who focuses mainly on Kids, Family, Lifestyle & Parenting. Welcome to We Little Ones. I hope to inspire you with the content I have to share. I love to talk about printables, work from home ideas for mothers who would like to make a living in their PJs! I also focus on other topics such as indoor/outdoor activities for kids, crafts, baby tips and hacks, recipes, parenting. Really anything and everything that makes you and your family’s life easier and fun.

I'm the Mother of Two

Who gave birth to a 12.0 lb 23 inch curious, but cautious, big boy “baby Slade.” And 13 months later birthed my 10.5 lb 21 inch energetic, go-getter little girl Bexlee aka “Bex”! YES, I decided to knock it all out at once so these two could grow up close and love every second with each other (well, for the most part, they do). I’m a wife, a planner, creator, and entrepreneur. I like to keep on going and going, sleeping is one of my weaknesses.

I Thrive on Sunshine,

The salty air, and the sand between my toes, YES THE BEACH!! I’m originally from the green mountain state of Vermont, I spent summers at our beach house in Seaside Park, New Jersey. After my first 10 years in the frigid state, I moved to the sandy beaches of North Carolina in the summer of 1993, a move I will never regret making. Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach are now where most of my summer days are spent playing with dump trucks in the sand, bubbles in the air, and splashing in the waves.

Let Me Cut Straight to the Chase...

In the year 2000, I attended SCAD on a full-ride Presidential Scholarship. I Played soccer all 4 years while working a full-time job, maintaining full-time credit hours, and selling stuff on eBay. This is where I knew selling/working full-time online was my JAM!! And hot damn, was I right!

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer motion graphics from Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia. From there, I made a career out of creating computer training OSHA safety modules. While I was still selling on eBay and working part-time as a food runner in the restaurant industry. I realized that if I work with a 1289%  work ethic for the entire next month (16 hours a day), then I could live the life I really wanted. So I created a full-time online business working & selling online.

I am the lucky #11. That was my soccer number through all my soccer days!

I Started

With my first eBay shop, in college, selling my mothers figurines.  She made cats, dogs, bears, but was famously known for The Herd by Marty Sculpture, Inc. After getting the gist of learning how to sell her product I decided to open a second eBay store selling my own homemade items. I started with creating cd clocks, monthly stickers, and wall decor surfboards (This was before Etsy was born.)  From there, I grew and grew and never looked back. I sold handmade items I made on ArtfireEcrater, & Bonanza.

My Online Shops

I maintain 2 Blogs & I am starting up my third. I now have different types of web stores and shops. Some of which are handmade items that I design and create:

6 Etsy Shops:

6 Web Stores:
3 Amazon Shops:

Handmade Items i Make

Some of the handmade items I design make and sell are:

  • Clocks
  • T-Shirts
  • Coasters
  • Wedding Guest Books
  • Personalized Posters
  • Wine Labels
  • Dictionary Prints
  • Monthly Stickers

I enjoy creating handmade gift items for people. Between maintaining these online shops, creating new things, and juggling two toddlers, it keeps me on my toes. I am always up for the challenge.

Sit Back & Relax...

Grab a glass of wine, a cup of Joe, or water (I’ll take wine as my preference). My husband would grab a big glass of milk. I’d love to get to know you better as you learn more about me. Together we can talk about life and the families we grow older with each and every day.  I hope you enjoy my blog!
